From the Outgoing Chair: Farewell and Thank You!
DNS Members:
Just a note to each of you to say "Thank you!" To all, I extend my most sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the honor and pleasure of being DNS DPG Chair for the past year. There are, honestly, no words or phrases that appropriately and adequately express the wonderment, thrills, challenges, rewards, and camaraderie I have experienced in this position -- not to mention the absolutely fantastic leadership and nutrition support education this year has been. All of you have been my teachers and mentors and each of you has facilitated the the growth and expansion of the knowledge and skills I now have. YOU have made DNS the superb professional organization it is and I most sincerely thank you for that. I am confident you will carry on that strong tradition into the new year and will support the new leadership as you have supported me.
I look forward to meeting more of you in the coming months at various DNS and ADA activities, as well as through other media, and have the opportunity to personally say "Thank you for this wonderful opportunity and its special memories. They are amongst the most revered memories of all."
