A.S.P.E.N. Clinical Nutrition Week ~ Las Vegas, Nevada February 8-12, 2010

Dear Fellow DNS Members,

A.S.P.E.N.'s Clinical Nutrition Week is just around the corner and DNS will have some exciting events and sessions that we're sure you won't want to miss out on if you are attending the conference this year!

The first item as that DNS will have a booth in the Exhibition Hall on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Many of the Executive Committee and Coordinating Cabinet members will be on site to network with you about the great services and member benefits DNS has to offer! We hope to see you there!

The second activity I would encourage you to attend is the A.S.P.E.N. Dietetics Practice Section Meeting. It's going to be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:15pm. Our very own DNS Chair-elect, Mary Hise, will be giving a presentation entitled, "Navigaing the Research Road: How to be Successful with Your Study Idea"and it promises to be a wonderful networking opportunity. I don't have the exact location at my fingertips but please check your program books upon your arrival for this location and I look forward to seeing you there!

The third incredible event is a session contributed by DNS on Thursday 2/11/10 from 4:00-5:30pm entitled, Physical Assessment Skills Lab. Faculty includes: Gail Cresci, Cindy Hamilton, Ainsley Malone, Mary Marian, Marsha Stieber and myself. We're very excited about this event and hope many of you will join us.

There are lots of other sessions throughout CNW that highlight many of our fine DNS leaders and members. Please take a look through the program book to identify these noteworthy options. If nothing else, we can all support one another! I can't wait!
