Volunteer Opportunity ~ Wound Care Evidence Analysis Project
ADA is seeking workgroup members for the Wound Care Evidence Analysis Project. This is a new evidence analysis project, funded by ADA, with a focus on developing nutrition practice guidelines. The anticipated timeline is 18-24 months. The project's focus will be to answer pertinent questions related to the topic using ADA's systematic evidence analysis process.
Some of the workgroup responsibilities are below:
* Develop and prioritize questions for evidence analysis on specific topics
* Review and approve evidence-based summaries and conclusion statements
* Rate conclusions based on an evidence grading scale

Food and Culinary Professionals (FCP) DPG needs your help with participation in a online survey. FCP's "My Food, My Choice" survey asks questions about the food choices we make every day. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Responses will be used to develop content for the FCP Spotlight Session at the 2010 American Dietetic Association Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo in Boston.

10 x 10 Informatics Education Program: Registration Deadline
The American Dietetic Association and the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) are excited to offer members an opportunity to participate in the “10x10 Informatics Education Program”. Participation in the course will provide you with a detailed overview of biomedical and health informatics designed specifically for RDs, DTRs and ADA members. You will gain a broad understanding of the field from the vantage point of those who implement, lead, and develop IT solutions for improving health, healthcare, public health and biomedical research.

Deadline Approaching to Submit Applications for the Advanced Enteral Nutrition Program
Hi Everyone,
This is an update/reminder that the application deadline for the Advanced Enteral Nutrition Program led by Dr. Mark DeLegge and sponsored by Nestle Nutrition is quickly approaching. The last day to submit applications is Friday, April 16th, 2010.
Also - we have confirmed with Dr. DeLegge that the next course offering will begin Tuesday, October 5th and end on Tuesday Nov 2nd. The conference calls will be on Tuesday afternoons same time as the June course.
