Program Curriculum


Curriculum Structure:  

  • Distance, e-learning format  
  • Advanced-practice level didactic?courses (usually one course per week during first six months with associated learning activities) then monthly (during the second six months) 
  • Each course led by a topic expert in the field of nutrition support 
  • Capstone project, final product due 18 months after starting 
  • Mandatory five-day supervised practicum experience at Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, OH) or Baylor Scott and White Health (Dallas, TX)  
  • Completion of all requirements results in a certificate that can be used to claim 75 CEUs through CDR
